AUSTRALIAN MADE NATURAL TOYS FOR YOUR CHILDREN
What's Your Baby Sucking On?
With the recent high profile recalls of Chinese manufactured toys due to concerns about lead content, you would be rightly concerned to look carefully at all toys purchased for your child, including gifts from relatives and friends. You may be interested to know that 85% of Australia's toys in our toys shops come from China so the recent recalls are a "drop in the ocean".
The Good news is that 96% of Nature's Child toys are not made in China! The small percentage that are made in China are made by a small family business using natural dyes and natural silks and we are proud to support them.
The Great news is that ALL of our baby toys are made from organic cotton or natural timber.
Most of our toddler toys are handmade, German Made and Australian Made to very strict guidelines. We did a quick count and over 70% of our range is made in Australia! We are very proud of that. It makes the few extra dollar worth it.
Our toys are also made from natural, sustainable materials with natural dyes, vegetable inks and plantation timbers. Our board games are made from recycled paper. Our supplier are mums at home and small toymakers. In summary, these people LOVE what they do.
As a bonus to this great news from Nature's Child, it is timely to remind you that our toys are handpicked by the owner and staff of Nature's Child who are parents our selves. We look for toys that are timeless, heirlooms that focus on creative play and imagination. We believe toys should be few but valued. They are for fun and they can create wonderful stories for our children and us to share. We also believe that they should be good enough for parents to play with! Our kids love us to play with them so why not choose items that you would enjoy using as well. Makes sense doesn't it?

Rocking Horse
This horse really rocks! Well balanced and strongly constructed, this trusty steed will give many years of faithful service. Sized to suit 2 years and over, it has carried an eight year old with ease (when his friends weren't looking!). 32 cm high at the seat.
